Oh that would be cool! Meredith had a blast. I bet Sam and Ant would love it. We missed Anthony when Meredith was having fun being a little mountain goat and climbing all over the rocks that were twice as tall as me.

Annie and Natalie, I love having a garden. I’m glad I’m not the only one having problems with corn and potatoes. I think I will fix up the back garden and try and cat proof it better and then plant some fall veggies.

I think we are going to go to Tofino next year. We are planning to have an actual 2 week holiday on the island so we can visit family and go to the places I love. Walter’s brothers have a float house somewhere up north (in that bay where the baby orca got seperated from its pod) so we might go there too.

You’re garden is doing great! I’m so impressed with your broccoli, mine looks so sad compared to yours.
Carrots and beets are something you can grow in your garden right up until the first frost so if you re-plant that bed and lay chicken wire you will probably get a fair amount in September or October.
My potatoes are also still quite small even thought the plants started wilting. I’m definitely going to wait until August to try harvesting again. Potatoes love fertilizer so I’m going to pile some compost on them and see if that gives them a boost.
My corn sucks too! The beans are definitely bigger than my corn. I didn’t realize how bad mine was until I saw Kyrie’s.
Keep at it though, eating out of your own garden is so rewarding!

Wow! I want to eat out of your garden! Home grown broccoli is a favourite of mine. Yours looks so good! I also love the butterfly garden. How pretty!

Can’t wait to hear how the trip went. I hope the curvey road won’t make you more sick.
