 Kris and I have spent the past few days decluttering and moving rooms around. It’s a great feeling to watch our boxes and piles of stuff slowly diminish. I have a whole pile of stuff to post on FreeCycle or Craig’s List, and a huge bag of clothes to consign or donate. It feels [...] I think this has got to be one of the phrases that most grates on my nerves. Parents and kids are not all cookie cutter copies of each other, yet other parents often seem to think that all parents will think just as they do about their kids’ actions. I first heard it before [...] Well, I haven’t posted in a couple of months. Mostly because I decided I’m not a very good writer anyway and it’s doubtful anyone even reads this. But in reality I’m writing this more for myself to look back on than for anyone else so I’ve decided to keep it up again, at least [...] We’ve been away camping, so I wasn’t able to post anything. I don’t really have time to post much but figured I should say something. Camping was a lot of fun. It was cold at night but we all cuddled up together and were fine. I’ll try and come back later in the week [...] Meredith fell asleep nursing in my arms today. We (Meredith and I, Kris stayed here) have been away for the last ten days visiting my family and just got home last night. What with so many people being around and having to visit and go out a lot, she didn’t nap nearly as much [...] |
